We will kick the meeting off at Noon with a catered lunch from a local caterer, donations are welcome to help cover the cost of lunch.
We will have Rachel Brooks and Eric Day, both from Virginia Tech, speaking to us about Ailanthus Control and the Spotted Lanternfly.
Following those discussions Katlin Mooneyham with the Virginia Dept. of Forestry will provide a demonstration of a Emerald Ash Borer treatment of an Ash tree on the property and we will also check out a research plot on the farm where Ailanthus has been treated with a naturally occurring Verticillium fungus.
This meeting has been approved for 2.5 CFE credits.
