Virginia Division Update Winter 2008

The Virginia Division is getting cranked up for hosting the APSAF Annual Conference in 2009!  I hope you will all be involved and supportive to make this conference one to remember.

As usual, spring brings forth Jonquils, fruit blossoms, and delinquent dues notices.  When that SAF envelope comes in the mail.  Don't put it in the stack.  Go ahead and renew while you are thinking of it, then "Heay" you are done and it doesn't even need to go on your "To Do" list.

The Virginia Division recently weighed in on the proposed budget reduction in the Reforestation of Timberlands program.  

And yes we still await what the 2007 (8...9...) Farm Bill holds in store.

All told, it should be an active year for the Virginia SAF, with opportunities to demonstrate the value that SAF can provide its members.
