Upcoming Chapter and State Events:

There will be no December Edisto Chapter SAF meeting. We are going to have our annual oyster roast at the Washington Hunt Club in Moncks Corner on January 12 at 6 p.m. To get to Washington Hunt Club, from Moncks Corner, drive north out of Moncks Corner on US 52/17A. Cross the Tail Race Canal Bridge. At the bottom of the bridge, turn right at the traffic light onto SC 402. Travel two miles and cross a small bridge over Wadboo Creek. Immediately after the bridge turn right onto Dr Evans Road. Go approximately five miles down this road. The last creek you pass before arriving at the Mepkin gate is Washington Creek. Immediately before the bridge is an ROC road to the right with a silver gate & sign saying Washington Hunt Club. Turn right off the paved road onto the Washington Road & the clubhouse is at the end of that road on the edge of an old Cooper River rice field.
There will be chili and assorted snacks for those who don't eat oysters.
RSVP no later than Monday, January 9.
May the blessings of the season be yours!
~Liz Bourgeois
