Membership, Communication and Education Initiative

GRANT APPLICATION and GUIDELINES for the Year 2004-2005

The Appalachian Society of American Foresters has developed a grant program designed to promote three strategic initiatives that have been identified and approved by the Executive Committee. Funds are now available to assist Chapters, Student Chapters, State Societies or Division projects that will promote PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP, FORESTRY COMMUNICATIONS, or EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES.

Kenney P. Funderburke Jr. Educational Endowment Fund:

The objectives of the APSAF Educational Endowment Fund are two fold. First, it will support active APSAF members in attending leadership workshops, and educational training sessions, or symposia. Second it is to provide financial support for students to attend APSAF leadership workshops or APSAF annual meetings.
