From the NC Division Chair...

Dear NC Division SAF Members:

The NC Division Summer Meeting will be held this year in downtown Wilmington at the river side Coastline Convention Center on June 11-12, 2009. We've designed a meeting that's friendly to folks who want to come for the technical session on the 11th, the field tour on the 12th, or both.  The timing of the meeting is such that many folks who are restricted from overnight travel can still make the sessions. View the Meeting Brochure for more information. 

For those of you who wish to stay over or who want to bring your spouses, we've got a great location on the river at a great rate.  Check out the Coastline Inn, which is part of the meeting center, and to make a reservation.  Just mention that you're with SAF for a discounted room rate.

The timing of the meeting is also just right for those of you looking for some CFE's prior to the June 30 deadline for registered foresters.  Know someone who isn't an SAF member?  Invite them to register too.  Even better, bring them with you.
