Welcome to the Sandhills or North Carolina, land of longleaf pine, Seagrove Pottery, world class golf, and like most of the state, a growing population. The meeting location and lodging will be at Little River Golf & Resort located at 500 Little River Farm Boulevard in Carthage, NC (www.littleriver.com). Little River is the location of the Technical Sessions, Thursday night social, origination point for the Seagrove Pottery Tour, and origination point for the Friday field tour. The meeting planners have arranged for specially discounted two-bedroom condos right on the golf course. To make the deal even sweeter, Little River is letting us set up shared Villas that makes the nightly rate as low as $55.00 per person, per night!

     Single Suite (1 person/villa): $135/person/night
     Single Occupancy: (1 person/bedroom; 2 people/villa): $77/person/night
     Double Occupancy: (2 people/bedroom; 4 people/villa): $55/person/night
     Triple Occupancy: (3 people/villa; 2 in bedroom/1 in bedroom): $55/person for 2; $77/person for 1

To get the best rate, find 3 other members to share your Villa, then call 888-766-6538 to reserve your Villa with your and your Villa-partners's names. Note that the first night's lodging is due at reservation time. There are only a limited number of Villas available for June 2nd and 3rd under the group name "NC Division Society of American Foresters". The deadline for reserving a villa is May 3rd, 2010. Good tee times are available on June 2nd!
