ApSAF Email Lists:

Please join the email lists so that we can have improved communication with other SAF members in our state and multi-state societies.

The following email lists are being provided for communication with members:

These email lists are provided as member only, opt-in, moderated lists. Only members of the lists can send email to the list. Members must confirm having their email added to the lists. The email lists are now moderated and all messages to the list must be approved.

Use Policies:

The ApSAF email lists are provided for communication between memebers. Only members can post messages to the list. Any communication that is appropriate between memebers of the Society of American Foresters will be allowed. As long as email being sent to the list stays within appropriate uses the email lists will remain unmoderated.

Be careful when replying to a message from the list, the default replay address will be sent to all members of the list. If this is not what you intend, make sure the change the To: email address to the appropriate person.

Mail List Membership

Only members of SAF may join these mail lists. Each member will be added to two email lists: one for all ApSAF members (members@apsaf.org) and one for their respective state society (nc-members@apsaf.org, sc-members@apsaf.org, or va-members@apsaf.org). Student members will also be added to students@apsaf.org.

You will be automatically added to the mail lists if you have a valid email on file with SAF National. If you do not have a current email on file with SAF National or want to use a different email address you can request to be added or to update your email address by sending an email to the address below. You may also request to be removed from the list by using:

maillist-request@apsaf.org

Mail List Joining/Confirmation Process

When you are subscribed to one of the mail lists you will recieve and email like the following showing the Mailing list, moderator's email address, and your email address. You will need to click on the link in the body of the email message to confirm you addition to the list. If you do not want to be added to the list ignore the email and you will not be suscribed. NOTE: The subscription confirmation process will take you to a website "kundenserver.de" in Germany.

Shorty after you confirm your subscription to the email list you will recieve a second email welcoming you to the mail list. An example of that email is shown below.
