APSAF is excited to partner with Tom Davidson of Kinesis International to present an energetic interactive workshop on achieving success as a leader within APSAF. Members from the National SAF staff will also be present to provide insight on using SAF resources to your maximum benefit! Please contact Janet Steele or David Powell with any questions!

This year’s workshop is being offered prior to the Annual APSAF meeting on Wednesday, January 25, 2006, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Doubletree Inn in Charlottesville, VA.

The Leadership Workshop is designed for individuals who have been newly elected to an office within APSAF or individuals wanting to improve their SAF leadership skills. Congratulations on your dedication as an SAF leader! Now, you are probably wondering just what you should be doing to help SAF prosper. Plan to attend the Leadership Workshop on January 25, 2006. You will join leaders from North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia to gain insights to successful leadership, share ideas, learn the answers to your SAF questions, and have FUN! If you are a chapter chair-elect and cannot attend, please send at least one other officer or potential leader from your chapter to represent your chapter and take notes for you. All chapter and division officers and committee chairs are strongly encouraged to attend.

The cost for the workshop, including breaks and materials, is $50 if you register before January 9, 2006 ($65 after this date). The cost is $25 ($35 after January 9, 2006) if you are a student or retiree. Registration must be received by January 23, 2006. You can register for both the Leadership Workshop and the 2006 APSAF Annual Meeting. There is a discount on lodging at the Doubletree if you make reservations by the January 13, 2006.
